Applications

Beehub is for children aged 6 to 14 who are electively home educated. We are not a school. Our sessions make up part of a child's education, up to 14.5 hours a week, and it remains the parents' responsibility to ensure their child receives a suitable full-time education.

Please note that due to Department for Education regulations, Beehub cannot be named on an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Every application is considered individually. We like to meet each family before offering a place, so that we can talk properly about your child and whether we are the right fit for one another.

How to Apply

1. Complete the registration form & send us a cover email

Fill in the registration form at the bottom of this page, then send a short covering email to contact@beehub.uk telling us a little about your child and your family. Please do send the email as well as the form, as it is how we know your application has arrived. The form asks you to confirm that you have read our Terms and Conditions and our Code of Conduct.

2. Come and meet us

Once we have your form and your covering email, we will invite you and your child in for a short meeting with one of our Class Guardians. This is a chance to talk about your child's individual needs and circumstances, to ask us anything, and for us to get a sense of how your child might settle with us.

3. Pay the £45 application fee

The application fee is £45 per family. It covers the administration of your application, including arranging and holding your meeting with the Beehub team and any trial week offered. It is a charge for that process rather than a payment towards fees, so it is payable whether or not a place is offered, and it is not refundable once your application has been processed.

4. A trial week with the class

If the meeting goes well and the application fee is paid, we will invite your child to join their class group for a trial week. That is one full week with us, all 2.5 days, taking part in the lessons and getting to know the teachers, the guardians and the other children. We will then arrange a follow-up conversation with you and your child to talk about how it went.

5. Your place

If we are all happy to go ahead, we will offer a place in writing. The place is confirmed when you return a signed Fee Payment Agreement, which we send out with the offer.

Because a place is applied for and offered remotely, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of accepting it, without giving a reason. Section 3 of our Terms and Conditions sets out how this works.

Costs

The fee is £4,500 per child for the 2026-27 academic year. It is worked out as a weekly rate of £125 across 36 session weeks.

Payments are made half termly, in advance. Half terms are not equal in length, so each instalment is £125 multiplied by the number of session weeks falling in that half term:

We invoice you ahead of each half term, and payment must reach us on or before the first day of that half term. Refunds are not given for sessions a child does not attend, including absence through illness, holiday or family commitments. We review fees once a year, and will always give at least one full half term's written notice of any change.

Once your child has started

Your child's place continues automatically from one half term and one academic year to the next, so there is no need to re-enrol. Each year we ask you to sign a new Fee Payment Agreement recording the fee and your payment route, and to renew some permission and consent forms.

If you decide to withdraw your child, we ask for half a term's written notice, sent to contact@beehub.uk. We are a small setting and commit to staffing, room hire and class planning well in advance, so this notice matters to us, and it gives the children time to say a proper goodbye. Section 7 of our Terms and Conditions explains exactly how the notice period works.
